State seeks time on Nelliampathy issue
NEW DELHI: The state submitted a plea seeking postponement in considering the Nelliampathy Minnambara case. They sought time to produce more details in connection with the case.
The state government approached the Supreme Court against the high court order to give 200 acres of land of Nelliampathy Plantations including the Meenambara Estate in Nelliampathy to the company.
The government reiterated that they cannot accept the demand of a fresh measurement of 200 acres of land as the Nelliampathy Plantation already has so much.
