VS writes to CM on Forest Ministry cases

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition Leader V.S. Achuthanandan on Sunday wrote a letter to Chief Minister Oommen Chandy demanding that the cases under Forest Ministry should be handed over to senior lawyers.


VS also alleged that the move to remove the Government pleader, who dealt with the cases related to the forest ministry, was a deviation from the promise given by the government in the assembly.


He also blamed that Advocate General is a person who attend cases in favour of estate lobbies.
