THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will not resign over the revelations of Sreedharan Nair, one of the complainants against Solar Panel fraud case accused.
The decision, which was taken at the urgent meeting of the leaders of UDF convened at Cliff House on Monday midnight, was declared by KPCC President Ramesh Chennithala in the presence of Ministers P.K. Kunhalikutty, K.M. Mani, Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, K.C. Joseph, K.P. Mohanan, Adoor Prakash and Shibu Baby John.
Chennithala told media persons that UDF will support Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. He added that Sreedharan Nair’s statement is not serious as he often changes his statements.
Sreedharan Nair had revealed, earlier on Monday, that he saw the Chief Minister along with accused Saritha S. Nair on 9 July 2009.
