KOCHI: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy should be brought before law for misusing his official position, said opposition leader V S Achuthanandan at the press meet. A comprehensive probe should be conducted on the things mentioned in Saritha S Nair’s letter, he said.
VS said that if the chief minister is not guilty in it, then he is indebted to prove it. As similar allegations have been levelled against him before, there is no need to suspect her present disclosures. Saritha’s letter has mentioned that Ministers Adoor Prakash, K P Anil Kumar, MLAs Hibi Eden, Benny Behnan, P C Vishnunath and Jose K Mani MP had misused her. Chandy threatened the high command for them. Chandy and his cabinet have polluted the public life of the state, he alleged.
VS said that his stand on fight against the corrupt has not changed. I haveapproached the Supreme Court against the corrupt and got them punished. I’ll never stop fighting against the corrupt, he said.
