THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Congress Jacob group chairman Johnny Nellore is likely to quit UDF after declaring that he can no more get along with tricksters and fraudsters.
Nellore is quitting UDF in retaliation to the Front denying Angamaly seat to him. The Congress had reached a consensus on Roji John for Angamaly. It was after this that Johny Nellore reportedly took a tough stand to quit the UDF.
He said he would contest one of the seats in Moovattupuzha, Kothamangalam and Angamaly. “Whoever comes to support us will be welcomed. The LDF is also not an untouchable for us,” he said.
Johnny said that the Congress and UDF had betrayed him in the cruellest way. Henceforth, he would not work for the UDF or Congress.
Now the party may expel Johny as he has taken such a stand. The executive committee of the party, meanwhile, has decided to remain in the UDF and contest the Piravam seat it was given. A prominent leader of the party said that those who stood against the party stand woulld not be there in the party.
