KOCHI: The high court has ordered the Vigilance to complete the quick verification against Revenue Minister Adoor Prakash based on a complaint over land deal, within 15 days and submit the report. Justice P Ubaid said further legal steps can be taken as and when the report is submitted to Moovattupuzha Vigilance Court.
The Single bench made the above clarification while considering the petition filed by the minister against the Vigilance court’s order for quick verification. The petitioner had alleged in its complaint that the Minister had registered government’s Surplus land under the name of RMZ Eco world Infrastructure limited in Bangalore. The high court also disposed the case, saying the Vigilance court had the right to initiate further procedures in the case once the verification report was ready.
