Goonda Act should be used against Nokkukooli

KOCHI: Nokkukooli is against the interests of the country and a case should be registered against those demanding it, directed the Kerala High Court. The directive was passed by a division bench comprising of Justices Radhakrishnan and Vinod Chandran while considering a bunch of pleas on Nokkukooli.  


The Nokkukooli disturbs the progress of the country. Even though Nokkukooli has been banned in the state, demanding Nokkukooli in some places is pathetic. Strict action will be taken against those accepting Nokkukolli, the court said.
