Mani avoids interrogation, files leave application

THODUPUZHA: CPM Idukki former district secretary M M Mani did not appear for interrogation before the investigating team over his sensational speech in Manakkad. He was given a notice asking to appear before the team at 10 am on Monday. Mani’s counsel filed a leave application seeking 10 days leave.


In the plea filed, Mani said that he wants 10 days leave as he is approaching the Supreme Court against the Kerala High Court order dismissing his petition seeking to quash the FIR registered against him over his controversial remarks on eliminating political foes.
