No narco test for T Nazeer in gold theft case

KOCHI: The Kolencherry First Class Magistrate Court Monday rejected the plea seeking permission to subject LeT activist Thadiyantavide Nazeer for narco test in connection with the gold theft. Nazeer and his aides robbed 2.25 kgs of gold after attacking the jewellery owner and his two sons in Ernakulam on June 20, 2002.


According to the crime branch, the robbery was carried out to raise funds for the LeT activities. The investigating team approached the court for permission on the narco test when Nazeer didn’t cooperate with the questioning.
