Now smart class for government schools too

From marking their presence in private schools, smart classes will soon find its way to Government schools as well. Such a venture in the city has been taken up by MLA Hibi Eden and funded byGAIL(Gas Authority of India) as part of its CSR policy, in association with Rajagiri Outreach, an NGO. On July 21, MLA Hibi Eden inaugurated the initiative held at the Government Girls Higher Secondary School, MG Road and Goverment Higher Secondary School, Elamakkara.


A computer lab with smart class facility was inaugurated at the Ernakulam Government Girls Higher Secondary School.


Pradusha, principal, Ernakulam Government Girls Higher Secondary School, welcomed the gathering. The chief guest was K P Ramesh, District General Manager, GAIL.


A similar lab with around 20 computers and smart class facility was inaugurated at the Elamakkara Government Higher Secondary School.
