Popular Front has SIMI connection, informed HC
Wednesday, July 25, 2012: The government has informed the High Court that Popular Front, which has connections with SIMI, is responsible for 27 homicides that happened in the state.
The government made it clear that the activity of Popular Front which has connection with a banned outfit is a threat to national unity and security.
The court was considering the petition submitted by three district secretaries of Popular Front questioning the denial of permission to conduct freedom parades in three venues across the state on Independence Day.
