‘SIMI’ not functioning in Kerala, says Home Minister
Wednesday, July 4, 2012: Home minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan on Wednesday told the Assembly that banned organisation `SIMI’ is not functioning in Kerala.
He said that those attached to SIMI are trying to propagate their ideas through some other outfits, he said.
Three SIMI activists are under surveillance of the govt. The govt has got information that as SIMI has been banned by the centre, the activists have entered other organisations. Seven cases of terror activities have been exchanged to the NIA, the Minister said.
