Teenager attacked

ALAPPUZHA: The Kayamkulam police have begun investigation into yet another case of moral policing as a 17-year-old was allegedly hit with a brick for having spoken to a girl. According to a complaint by the teenager, who is now under treatment at Kayankulam General Hospital, he was beaten up by a group in front of the NSS Karayogam office in Puthiyidam in Kayamkulam. Another group of about 20 persons allegedly barged into his house and went on a rampage for his having registered a police complaint.
