TP murder: Custody period of P Mohanan extended

 Friday, July 6, 2012: The custody of P Mohanan, CPM Kozhikode district secretariat member, arrested in connection with the murder of RMP leader T P Chandrasekharan, has been extended till July 11. He was produced before the Vadakara court as his custody tenure ended.


In the meanwhile, CPM Kannur district secretariat member Karayi Rajan was arraigned as an accused in the TP murder case. A case was registered against him on the charge of providing shelter for the accused in the case. Apart from Karayi Rajan, Panur area secretary K K Pavithran and Koothuparambu area secretary M Dhananjay were also named accused.
