Two auto drivers arrested

Two autorickshaw drivers were arrested on Monday, in connection with the assault of a shop owner last week. The arrested persons are Vichu, 20, belonging to Paraparambil House, Chungam, Vaikom, and his brother, Vivek, 21. The duo was taken into custody. The assault had taken place on June 26 at Judges Avenue. The victim, Joseph Fernandez,  was attacked by Vichu and Vivek. Joseph’s scooter had collided with an autorickshaw and created a traffic block. Following the argument which took place, Joseph was attacked by the duo using iron rod and sticks. The victim suffered a broken leg.
