VS refused to divulge details of talks

NEW DELHI: Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan refused to divulge the details of the talks held with CPM general secretary Prakash Karat, to the media.


VS refused to respond even after media persons asked for more details. He said, “I love and respect the media.”


If you (media) stop me, I’ll have to forcefully go, he said and entered the car.


Meantime, it is almost certain that action will be taken against VS in the central committee. Party general secretary Prakash Karat held talks with VS at the AKG Bhavan as there was a strong demand for action against him.


Karat reported that VS was firm in his stand in the politburo convened.
