Thursday, October 20, 2011: The state government has decided to shift
ACP Radhakrishna Pillai from law and order on the basis of the report
by additional chief secretary K Jayakumar.
The report stated that Pillai failed in evaluating the situation and
there was no such situation which prompted firing. The report also added
that his act was not deliberate.
The report also stated that he can be transferred or a departmental enquiry can be initiated.
