Tuesday, October 18, 2011: Three more persons accused in the
Karakulam twin murder case were arrested on Wednesday. Five persons
accused in the case were arrested earlier.
The third accused Sabu (23), the fourth accused Ratheesh (25) and fifth accused Vishnu (23) were arrested yesterday.
Prince(19), a key accused in connection with a case in which two
youths were hacked to death in an alleged gangland murder near
Peroorkada on October 6th, has been taken into custody on Tuesday
morning.
According to the police, Prince had delivered the first blow on
Praveen’s head using a heavy concrete block. The same blow was confirmed
by the doctors to be the cause of death. Prince has also confessed to
the police to have committed the crime.
The probe team had earlier arrested the fourth, seventh and ninth accused in the case earlier.
