Friday, October 21, 2011: The Union Petroleum Ministry has promised
that the LNG receiving and re-gasification terminal here will be
commissioned in the first quarter of 2012.
Speaking to the reporters here on Friday, Union Petroleum Minister S.
Jaipal Reddy opined that the project will be commissioned in the 33.4
hectares of land.
The first Phase of the LNG project would have a capacity of 2.5 million tonnes, which can later be expanded to 5 million tonnes.
