PERUNNA: NSS came forward supporting Finance Minister K M Mani facing allegations of corruption in the bar bribery scam. There is no need for Mani to resign, said NSS general secretary G Sukumaran Nair. Don’t crucify him unless the corruption allegation is proved. The NSS will not support him if found true, he said.
The NSS has a good rapport with Mani and the UDF Government. The NSS wants the government to complete their tenure. However, some will not allow the government to function smoothly, he said.
Nair refused to respond to the resignation of R Balakrishna Pillai from the chairman post of Forward Development Corporation.
