THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan has asked the government not to withdraw the case in which Higher Secondary director Kesavendra Kumar was splashed with black oil.
"It was an incident that brought ill-reputation to Kerala. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has made it his habit to save goons, misusing his official power. He has now helped the criminal, who was punished by the Supreme Court, to forgo imprisonment. The law secretary who usually gives legal advice to the chief minister in any illegal thing, must have advised Chandy this time also,” said Achuthanandan.
