THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State government has declared regional holiday on Thursday for government offices and schools in Thiruvananthapuram, Palakkad, Pathanamthitta, Idukki and Wayanad on account Thai Pongal. All these districts have border with Tamil Nadu and a sizeable population of Tamilians.
