THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala University vice-chancellor Dr P K Radhakrishnan’s research thesis has gone missing. He gave this information in response to a question filed as per Right To Information Act.
As Pro Vice-chancellor Dr N Veeramanikantan’s PhD thesis is caught in a controversy for plagiarism, the loss of VC’s thesis has raised several doubts.
Dr Radhakrishnan had received PhD for Chemistry from Kerala University in 1985. He got the PhD in Solid State Thermal Decomposition Kinetics through part time registration. Dr Indrasenan from Kerala University was the guide.
Four copies of the thesis were submitted to Kerala University as per rule. Three copies among them were sent to examiners and one was preserved in the varsity. After the PhD was awarded, that copy had been kept in the university library under the custody of the librarian as reference book. It is this book that has gone missing now.
