KOCHI: The Kerala High Court extended till February 12 the stay granted to close the three and four star bars of the state. A division bench consisting of Justices Babu Mathew P Joseph and K T Shankaran said the case of 418 bars closed earlier and other pleas will now be considered separately.
In the meanwhile the court asked whether things are moving in the old state. The court made the statement while bringing to notice the decision to permit beer and wine parlours. The court also asked what relevance is there on the study reports presented by the government to examine the liquor policy.
