THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A day after the CPM hinting an alliance with the congress, KPCC chief V M Sudheeran said the CPM cannot progress in politics unless they change their hatred towards the congress. Inaugurating the programme organized by the KPCC on the 131st Foundation Dayof the Indian National Congress, Sudheeran said he doesn’t think the CPM will correct its mistake by convening the national plenum.
The CPM plenum convened the other day had taken a stand not to reject the chances of an alliance with the congress.
None of the parties can form a secular alliance by excluding the congress. The congress had always lifted atop secularism. He asked to be vigilant against the BJP Government’s communal stance. The idea of the BJP and the Sangh Parivar is to divide people, but it will not be fulfilled in Kerala, he said.
