Sudheeran refutes Vellappally’s charge

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president V M Sudheeran has said that he is not hounding SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan as alleged by him. “Witch-hunt is not my style. I have never done that. I have nothing personal against him, but I do have differences about his positions,” Sudheeran said while inaugurating the 92nd institution day of the Congress Seva Dal here on Sunday.

Sudheeran insisted that Natesan’s controversial speech at Aluva in the course of his ‘Samathva Munnetta Yatra’ was made with the devious intention to foment religious hostilities and hatred and this would be evident to anyone who examines the video recording of his speech. He had escaped the arms of the law in the past using the immunity derived from his position in the SNDP Yogam. The law is applicable to all and Natesan should also submit himself to the processes of law, he said.
