THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC chief V M Sudheeran asked SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan to apologize openly for insulting the chief minister. Talking to reporters here, he said Vellappally is trying to communalize Sankar.
R Sanker is a public asset of the Kerala society. He is one among the top leaders the state had ever seen. Sangh Parivar is joining hands with Vellappally to confiscate Sankar's great legacy but it will not happen. He has turned a puppet in the hands of the RSS and the Sangh Parivar. Vellappally, who is working after forgetting the glory of his post should not continue as the general secretary of the organization. He should quit his post at the earliest.
There are media reports that the office of the Prime Minister has a role in the incident. Is this right, it should be revealed, he added.
The unveiling ceremony is not a private function. Oommen Chandy can attend the function as the chief minister of the state. The KPCC will conduct a prayer in front of the statue of Sankar tomorrow in protest against the act of the SNDP, he said.
