Centre approves teachers’ pension age to 65

NEW DELHI: The centre Friday approved the recommendation to hike the pension age of teachers in universities coming under the government, to 65. The decision was taken as per the sixth pay commission. The 80% of the arrears to be given when the pension age is raised will be met by the centre.
