Thursday, July 26, 2012: CPI(M) state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan voiced his disapproval to the recently announced hike in power tariff.Addressing a press meet, he said the party will organise protest marches in front of the offices of the electricity board tomorrow. He said that it will hinder development and bring forth regression in the state as industrial firms will abstain from coming to Kerala due to the high price of electricity.
He blamed the UDF government for thrusting the hike on to the people.
