Right to Service Bill introduced in Kerala Assembly

Monday, Jul 23, 2012: With a view to provide public services without delay, Kerala government today introduced a new legislation that guarantee services to people within stipulated time and impose punitive penalty on officials in case of default.


The Bill, titled ‘Kerala State Right to Service Bill, 2012′, considered to be the first of of this kind in the country, guarantee the delivery of various public serves and impose a fine on officials if they failed to perform their duties.
