Ramakrishnan has submitted his resignation to Kerala Pradesh Congress
Committee (KPCC) president Ramesh Chennithala.
Ramakrishnan decided to resign from the post of DCC president due to
the ongoing row between him and K Sudhakaran. Ramakrishnan’s disclosure
that it was K Sudhakaran who had urged former minister MV Raghavan to
visit Kuthuparambu on the day of firing became a row.
The KPCC had served a show cause notice to Ramakrishnan on Friday. He
had been asked to explain why action should not be taken aganst him for
fulminating against Sudhkaran, who represents Kannur in the Lok Sabha.
