CBI probe not necessary in TP murder case, says legal experts

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A CBI probe is not necessary in the murder case of RMP leader T P Chandrasekharan, legal experts informed the state government. They said that if the case is handed over to the CBI mid-way, it will help the accused to escape.They can escape saying that the charge sheet has been filed without completing the case.

Not only that a senior counsel has informed the government that if the case is now handed over to the CBI, the image of the police will be stained. The state police had earlier opposed a CBI probe citing the same reason.
