Janashree is not anybody’s private property, says Chandy

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Janshree is not anybody’s private property, said Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. Briefing reporters after the weekly cabinet meet, he said those leveling allegations against Janashree should prove it.

Chandy said, “Janashree is a self-help organization. I know that M M Hassan has only shares worth Rs 50,000 in that. Janashree is one of the organisations getting relief from the centre.  Kudumbashree is one functioning under the state government. There is no doubt that the UDF government has given more assistance to it than the LDF Government.”
