Justice Manjula Chellur is new Kerala HC Chief Justice
KOCHI: The President has appointed Mrs Justice Manjula Chellur as the new Chief Justice of Kerala High Court. She has been serving as the acting chief justice. She will take oath as Chief Justice next week in Thiruvananthapuram.
She was enrolled as an Advocate on 11.08.1978. She had practised in courts at Bellary District. She joined Karnataka Judicial Service as District Judge on 15.04.1988.
Promoted to the Cadre of District Judge (Super Time Scale) on 29.12.1994, she was appointed as Additional Judge of the High Court of Karnataka on 21-02-2000 and permanent Judge on 17-08-2000.
