Vigilance inquiry ordered
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Health Minister V S Sivakumar has ordered a Vigilance inquiry into the complaint that the Government Medical College Hospital, Thrissur, did not lift medicines from the Kerala Medical Services Corporation and its doctors were giving prescriptions to patients for purchase of the medicines from outside. The order was issued on the basis of a preliminary inquiry conducted by the Director of Medical Education into complaints made by V S Sunil Kumar and K V Abdul Khader, MLAs.
