No further probe in Lavalin case
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CBI court in the capital city rejected the three pleas seeking further probe in the SNC Lavalin case. The CBI probe in the case is satisfactory and impartial. The plaintiffs were not able to prove their version, the court observed.
Social activist Neyyattinkara Nagaraju, crime editor Nandakumar and EMS Samskarika Vedi approached the court for further probe.
The pleas demanded to probe the role of former power ministers Pinarayi Vijayan and G Karthikeyan stated to have made monetary benefits from the deal with the SNC-Lavalin Company. They also sought to probe the role of Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, the then board member.
