Nelliampathy: Final report on Oct 22

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The report on the Nelliampathy estate issue will be submitted on October 22 following differences of opinion at the UDF sub panel meet convened to discuss the issue. The panel convenor A N Rajan Babu said further proceedings should be taken in the wake of the Supreme Court verdict that the estate is forest land.

But chief whip P C George and Johnny Nelloor opposed the verdict. George wanted to extend the dater for submitting the report. The panel later decided to submit the report on Oct 22.
