Hartal callers should be strongly dealt with, says J B Koshy

PATHANAMTHITTA: Justice J B Koshy, Human Rights Commission chairman said that those who call for a hartal should be strongly dealt with.  

Unleashing violence in the name of hartal is violation of human rights. No one has the right to block vehicles on the particular day. Atrocities carried out in the name of hartals are ridiculous, he said.

Koshy said, 80 percent of the cops live by fooling the poor. There are many cases where DySPs accept bribes from granite and sand mafias.
