Fr Job Chittilappilly case: Double life sentence for accused
KOCHI: Special CBI court in Ernakulam has ordered double life imprisonment for Raghu, the accused in Fr Job Chittilapilly murder case.
The court maintained that the accused deserves no mercy. It was ordered that he also has to pay a fine of Rs 35000 which would be used for charitable purposes.
Fr Job Chittilappilly was killed on August 28, 2004 at his parish church of Our Lady of the Graces in the village of Thuruthiparambu.
The court found Raghu guilty from the witness statements.
