THIRUVANATHAPURAM: The Muslim League and the Kerala Congress (Mani) welcomed the induction of KPCC chief Ramesh Chennithala into the cabinet.
Minister P K Kunhalikutty said the induction was discussed with the League. The decision will bring more confidence to the Congress and the UDF, said Kunhalikutty. This will help to fortify the foundation of the UDF and is not a mere political formula, he said.
Minister K M Mani too welcomed the decision. The ministerial post of Chennithala is the internal affair of the congress. We need not opine on that, he said.
