PERUNNA: There is no special opinion on the induction of KPCC chief Ramesh Chennithala into the cabinet, said NSS general secretary G Sukumaran Nair. The NSS has not profited from persons including Ramesh Chennithala, he said.
Chennithala was not sincere enough to say that he is the representative of the majority community. Chennithala had earlier asked not to brand him. The NSS has not gone after them and hereafter will never do it also, he said.
The NSS is least bothered on anyone’s entry and exit in the cabinet. It is the internal affairs of the congress whom to induct and discard. A member of the majority community attaining a key post is good. The NSS had demanded this earlier.
The majority community had been getting a raw deal from the government. The NSS exists for social justice and it will continue. The NSS had never achieved anything in the name of caste like other community organisations. Injustice will be pointed out. Anyone who runs the government smoothly will be supported, he said.
The NSS is against the educational policies of the government.
