PALAKKAD: In a befitting reply to K Muraleedharan for his statement against Chief Whip P C George, the latter said the benefits receiving from the government are not from the pocket of the former’s family. George asked the KPCC to control Murali. George said this while reacting to Murali’s statement that the former is attacking the government after accepting benefits from them like an unchained temple ox.
George said, “Murali turned against A K Antony in 2004. He has the history of forming a new party against the congress. When everybody snubbed him, he was re-accommodated into the party by the courtesy of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and KPCC chief Ramesh Chennithala.”
