THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Central government is going to cut by 25% the kerosene quota that has been allotted to the State.
Kerala is now getting 10020 kilo litre kerosene and the new decision is to reduce it to 7488 kilo litre. Minister Anoop Jacob has requested the Centre to withdraw its decision and retain the present quota of 10020 kilo litre. A message in this regard has also been sent to the prime minister and Union petroleum minister.
