THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Amid the high-octane corruption controversy over National Games, ruling front MLA K B Ganesh Kumar has resigned from National Games executive council. Ganesh today informed the chief minister that his resignation was in protest against “the corruption and extravagance” involved in the conduct of National Games.
Ganesh alleged that the Games organising committee was lavishing public money in the name of preparation for the Games and the committee was diverting from its already declared objectives.
