THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala will experience isolated heavy to very heavy rains accompanied by wind till Sunday morning, according to Met department..
The change in the weather has been attributed to the formation of trough in the air over Kanyakumari region. More rains can be expected in South Kerala.
Fishermen and those living near coastal areas have been issued warnings about possible dangers from sea waves. Disaster management centre chief Dr Sekhar Kuriakose has said that temporary withdrawal of sea from the shore should not be misunderstood as the calming down of the sea. This phenomenon, however, doesn’t have any connection with earthquakes and Tsunami.
