THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala are trying to save SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan in connection with the corruption in microfinance, alleged opposition leader V S Achuthanandan. Instead of handing over my complaint to the police, both the chief minister and the home minister are playing with it back and forth. This is a tactic to create an obstacle against me approaching the court, he said in a statement.
He criticised the chief minister for trying to teach secular politics to the CPM. The approach of the CPM towards communalism is very clear. The communist party grew up in Kerala after facing all kinds of communal politics. It was the CPM who fought against communal forces when riots in Thalassery flared up. The congress tried to reach the BJP candidate in the assembly through Vadakara-Beypore model, he said in the statement.
