KOTTAYAM: Finance Minister K M Mani has said that there is no evidence to substantiate that he demanded bribe. “And therefore, there is no need for convening a meeting of Kerala Congress (M) high power committee. When there is a need, the meeting could be held,” he said.
Mani said this in response to the demand raised by a group in the Kerala Congress that a meeting of the high power committee should be convened immediately to discuss Vigilance court’s latest verdict.
PC Joseph MLA had written a letter to Mani and minister P J Joseph apprising them of the demand for the meeting. Mani later rejected Joseph’s demand.
