THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A youth rescued a school student who fell out of a running KSRTC bus Thursday morning at 8.45 am in Jagathy. Ahamed, a ninth standard student of a private school in Pattom has been admitted at the general hospital.
He fell from the bus proceeding to Vazhuthacaud from Jagathy after the door of the vehicle opened. The driver noticed the incident after Ahamed’s brother Muhammed and other passengers created an uproar.When police on duty at the junction and some others did not turn up for rescue operations, a youth identified as Jayan of Jagathy came forward, stopped a car and then took him to the hospital. He suffered injuries on his hands and head.
