Dubai, Sunday, August 21, 2011: A decision was taken at the high level meet of TECOM in Dubai to include the names of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Minister K Babu as special invitees to the director board of the proposed Smart City project in Kochi. The meet decided to start the first phase of work on the project on September 29. An agreement was taken to grant the amount for the first year of the project but the exact amount has not been revealed. The work on the building will begin on November 19.
