State ready for Crime Branch probe into Aneesh murder: CM

Wednesday, June 20, 2012: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy today said that a Crime Branch inquiry can be held into the murder of Students Federation of India (SFI) leader Aneesh Rajan if needed.
The CM said so during talks with the representatives of the federation here on Tuesday.
Home minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan later said that the government’s offer was for a probe by any agency that enjoyed the confidence of the SFI. “The Chief Minister suggested the Crime Branch and made it clear that the government had nothing to hide in this matter,” he said.
